Pecan Pie

  • 3 Tbsp Flax Meal

  • 1/2 cup Water

  • 1/2 cup Brown Sugar

  • 3 Tbsp Plant Based Butter

  • 1 cup Dark Corn Syrup

  • 1/4 tsp Cinnamon

  • 1/8 tsp Nutmeg

  • 1/8 tsp Ginger

  • 1/8 tsp Cloves

  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract

  • 1 1/2 cup Pecans

  • 1/2 Soda Pie Crust

Prepare one 9” Soda Pie Crust. Place in 9” pie dish & place in fridge.

In small bowl combine Flax Meal & Water. Let rest in fridge for 10 minutes.

Mix Flax Meal “egg”, Sugar, Butter, Dark Corn Syrup, Spices, &Vanilla until well combined. Take a 1/2 cup Pecans and chop then fold into filling. Pour filling into the cold pie crust. Top with remaining Pecans.

Bake at 350 degrees for 50-60 mins. At around 30 mins cover the pie crust edges with foil to prevent burning.

Allow pie to cool complete then Enjoy!
