Beer Dough

  • 1 can (12oz) beer at room temperature or warmer (under 95 degrees F)

  • 2 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast

  • 3 tablespoons olive oil

  • 1 1/2 tablespoon sugar

  • 1 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 4 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

Mix beer and yeast together.  Mix in oil, sugar, and salt.  Add in flour and mix.  Knead until smooth.  Place in an oiled bowl and proof in a warm place until the dough doubled in size.  Should take about an hour.   

Next roll out for pizza dough, pretzels, or whatever you will use to the dough for.  If using for pizza , bake at 425 for 14-16 minutes.  You can make a head of time and freeze until ready to defrost and use!
